Matthew, who holds a Series 65 securities license, started as an intern with the Zamani Team at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney before moving to Steel Peak.
He holds an Associates Degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from California State University, Northridge. Matthew’s hobbies include basketball, softball, computers and hiking. He enjoys joining the Steel Peak team to volunteer at the Walden Family foster care center every Christmas.
Since 1994, I’ve overseen the personal finances of affluent individuals and families in Los Angeles and throughout the United States. Joseph has been a Wealth Advisor assisting clients since 2008. He is passionate about helping people and gets satisfaction from fully implementing financial plans to help people reach their goals.
He is a Certified Financial Planner, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. He also holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation in addition to the Series 66 license. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
Joseph enjoys working out, traveling and hosting social events. He is an active participant in his community as a member of the Guardians Los Angeles. His family is from Argentina and he is fluent in Spanish.
Wayne specializes in retirement planning, college savings, and comprehensive financial planning. He began his career as a Manager and Vice President for global and local banks for over 12 years and has been in wealth management industry for over 4 years, where he has been helping people make financial decisions ever since. Prior to joining Steel Peak, Wayne was a financial advisor at Waddell & Reed. Wayne graduated from the University of San Diego where he earned his degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance. In addition to being a wealth advisor, he is also an active member of the City Club Los Angeles, and a moderator for the All Cities Network.
His philanthropic endeavors include supporting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and providing educational seminars for veterans and underprivileged youth. In his free time, Wayne enjoys playing golf and being a dad to his 2 sons, Wayne Jr. and Bruce.
Roxana Maddahi is a Wealth Advisor who guides Millennials through financial planning and investing. She has worked in the Wealth Management sector since 2007. She previously worked at Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan Securities, and left the large firm life in 2015 to join Steel Peak. Roxana earned her bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University with a double concentration in Business Economics and International Business.
Roxana believes that Millennials are an incredibly innovative, successful and capable generation that she relates to. She treats her clients with care and compassion, and works in their best interest.
The first few years of her career in banking, she could not understand why everyone in the industry used finance jargon that normal, successful, intelligent people could not understand. In order to help individuals and financial laypeople to understand investing and financial planning, she created a blog that is devoted to teaching matters of finance in a way that people can understand. Roxana writes regularly for The Huffington Post, Elite Daily, Millennial Magazine, and LA Mom Magazine about personal finance.
Her passion is to teach clients how to understand their money, make short and long term financial plans, and to grow their money with the appropriate investments for them. She loves to learn about the various businesses that her clients are involved with, and is inspired by their creativity and expertise. Ryan’s priority is to help families and individuals accomplish their financial goals and to provide the highest level of satisfaction for his clients.
He is a graduate from the University of Oregon with a major in economics and a minor in business administration. His goal is to provide a unique strategy for each client to help them reach their goals.
Outside the office, Ryan enjoys spending his spare time hiking, fishing, and sightseeing. In addition to his pleasure for exploring the outdoors, Ryan also plays several sports including volleyball and basketball.
Morten has an extensive background in the Securities and Insurance industries including money management, insurance, financial and estate planning. He specializes in comprehensive wealth management where he serves the needs of his clients by creating, growing, protecting and preserving wealth in the best tax advantage way.
Morten believes his role is to help client identify their short and long term financial goals. He develops a complete financial plan, with investments that are appropriate for his client’s objectives and their own feelings about money and financial security.
Morten received his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Lund, Sweden in 1978, and his MBA from American Graduate School of International Management, Phoenix, AZ, in 1984. He has worked for some of the largest firms on Wall Street including Merrill Lynch, Wachovia Securities, Allstate and MassMutual Financial Services. Morten has been married to his wife Michele for 18 years. He spends much of his free time with his wife and their two cats in their home in Calabasas. He has an interest in bonsai trees and hiking the Santa Monica Mountains.
Alec has a passion for helping others succeed. He dedicates his time, as a wealth advisor, to help individuals and families achieve their financial goals through meticulous planning and preparation.
Alec holds the series 65 license. He graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor’s in Financial Planning. In his free time, Alec likes to travel to different places and enjoys being outdoors. He also likes watching sports such as football. He currently resides in Santa Clarita.

Steven first became interested in finance while working for a large mutual fund company after college. He enjoys following global economic trends, and has a passion for helping people navigate these challenges through comprehensive financial planning and investment management.
Steven earned his BA from Occidental College in Politics, with a minor in Economics. He holds the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation, as well as a California Life, Disability and Long-term Care Insurance license. Steven also has a passion for serving the community, working as a Board Director, Investment Sub-Committee Chair and member of the Finance Committee for the non-profit Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA). HOLA provides underserved youth with exceptional programs in academics, arts, and athletics; empowering them to develop and pursue their educational goals.
Steven enjoys fitness, cooking, basketball, and time with his family and friends. His office is located in Beverly Hills.
Prior to joining Steel Peak, Andrew was a Senior Vice President, and Senior Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors and has been serving clients as a Financial Advisor since 1998. Andrew first became interested in finance while working in the entertainment industry and studying the economic impact on, and financial needs of all members of that professional genre. He has a great interest in following global economic trends, studying the financial markets, and has a passion for working with his clients to do a “deep dive” risk assessment when navigating the markets uncertainties. Andrew’s years of experience in market research, portfolio management, and risk analysis have been some of the tools he has used to develop and nurture his long standing, trust based client relationships.
Andrew’s recent decision to move into a fiduciary role as an independent advisor was born from the commitment to focusing even more on the needs and goals of his clients, their families and their businesses, and less on the politics of a corporate culture. As a fiduciary, Andrew believes that in depth conversation and planning are the first steps to assisting his current and prospective clients in developing a road map for their financial times ahead. It is his true belief that every client’s financial future requires a solid, but flexible blueprint which will serve as their investment and retirement planning foundation.
Andrew earned his BA from Ithaca College, and his Master’s Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Phillips Graduate Institute. He worked five years for the County of Los Angeles investigating child abuse, and counts those years protecting children as some of the most rewarding memories in his life. Andrew credits his counseling education for giving him the skills to help his clients navigate the often-emotional gyrations of the financial markets. The tools of his education allow Andrew to guide his clients on a steady, less volatile path to their ultimate investment and retirement goals.
Andrew is active in contributing to multiple charities including, Wounded Warrior Foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and The ASPCA. In addition, Andrew enjoys fitness, mixed martial arts training, golf, road bicycle riding, and time with his friends, and his daughter.
