Chris Shelburne brings 27-years of industry experience to SteelPeak, with an award-winning career that spans both advisor and senior leadership roles with leading wealth management firms. At SteelPeak, Chris is responsible for driving SteelPeak advisor acquisition and national growth initiatives.

Pete has over 30 years of investment and wealth management experience. Prior to joining SteelPeak Wealth, he was a Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley and U.S. Trust. In addition, Pete worked as a Fixed Income Product Specialist at Nuveen Asset Management, and as an Institutional Consultant at Wilshire Associates. He also has experience in real estate (multi-family and student housing) and is a member of CalALTS.

Pete earned an Economics degree from the University of Delaware and an MBA from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. He also holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA^®) from The CFA Institute and is a member of the CFA Society of Los Angeles (CFALA).

Rina M. Pineda, CPA, MST, is a seasoned Certified Public Accountant licensed in California and based in Las Vegas, NV, boasting over two decades of experience in taxation, accounting, and banking. Raised in Santa Monica, CA, she obtained her B.S. in Accounting and B.A. in Business Management, with a finance concentration, from Loyola Marymount University, followed by an M.S. in Taxation from California State University, Northridge.

With a robust background in taxation, financial statements, and various tax and accounting platforms, Rina’s expertise extends from multinational corporations to personal returns. Currently, she dedicates her efforts to addressing the needs of privately-owned businesses, their proprietors, and entrepreneurs. Beyond her professional pursuits, Rina finds joy in spending quality time with family and friends. She is also passionate about wellness and is an avid dog lover.

Lioness Ebbay is an Estate Planning Attorney whose specialty includes protecting families from Conservatorship and Probate Court, and assisting entrepreneurs with Business Formations and Asset Protection.

She loves taking every opportunity, be it live or virtual, to educate the community about the importance of Living Trusts, Power of Attorneys, and preserving your family’s legacy. Lioness is passionate about creating personally tailored Estate Plans for her clients who believe that inheritances can pave the way for generational wealth. She has helped hundreds of families set up Living Trusts to preserve their family wealth.

Colin Kapp is the Director of Marketing for SteelPeak Wealth. He is passionate about connecting people with things they find valuable and has been working in financial services for the bulk of his career. A digital native, Colin has helped organizations add efficiency and measurability to their marketing efforts.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business in Marketing and Operations, and an MBA from Chapman University. Before joining SteelPeak Wealth, Colin worked as Director of Digital Marketing for First Foundation Inc., a publicly traded wealth management and banking firm, and most recently as Senior Operations Director for First American Financial’s Data & Analytics division.

Colin lives in Orange County with his wife, two children, chocolate Labrador, and Siamese cat. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, consuming content created by others, and watching Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions football.

Leonard is the Compliance Manager at SteelPeak Wealth. Prior to SteelPeak, he was a Partner, Co-Portfolio Manager and Senior Trader at Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. within the Marketable Securities Group. He was responsible for identifying investment and trading opportunities across a variety of alternative asset classes including Equity Derivatives, Credit, Convertibles and Risk Arbitrage. He has also held research, capital markets and trading positions at UBS and Morgan Stanley.

Leonard received an MBA from Harvard Business School and holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California.

In his spare time, Leonard enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, grilling and mentoring youth interested in a career in investments.

As the firm’s controller, Joshua Fein is responsible for the day-to-day accounting and development of accounting operations at SteelPeak. He has worked in the corporate accounting space his entire career. Having worked in a variety of industries including property management, market research, securities, food manufacturing, and financial consulting. Taking along a wealth of knowledge and experience with him.

Joshua is a life-long Los Angeles native and graduated in 2006 from California State University Northridge (CSUN) with a degree in finance. He also has a certificate of achievement in accounting from Santa Monica College and is an actively licensed CPA. He actively participates in the resume review program through the CSUN alumni association for graduating students. Beyond that, he always looks for something new to enjoy and learn from as one truly never stops learning.

As a Senior Tax Consultant, Summer Larzelere is a dedicated tax professional at SteelPeak Wealth with 10 years of experience in the tax industry. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting from Lakeland University in Sheboygan, WI.

Throughout her career, Summer has enjoyed helping clients navigate the complexities of tax planning and compliance, offering personalized strategies to optimize their financial well-being. Her expertise extends across various sectors, including individual and corporate taxation, where she is known for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to simplify complex tax concepts for her clients.

Outside of her professional life, Summer loves spending her free time paddleboarding along the Atlantic Coast waterway, playing the piano, and cherishing moments with friends and family.

As an Operations Associate at SteelPeak Wealth, James works closely with wealth advisors to drive efficiencies through technology. James is passionate about continuous learning and self-improvement. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University.

Beyond work, James enjoys producing music, maintaining an active lifestyle, and spending time with his family.

Victoria is a dedicated Advisor Operations Associate committed to helping SteelPeak Wealth advisors best serve their clients. With a seamless transition from a Wealth Advisor role, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her position. She plays a critical role in the training and day-to-day operations of our team of Advisors.

Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 2016 and holding a Series 65 license, Victoria combines her academic achievements with her professional acumen.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Victoria actively supports causes related to animal welfare, reflecting her deep commitment to making a positive impact beyond the world of finance. During her leisure time, she immerses herself in various design projects, channeling her creativity and expressing her passion for artistic pursuits.

Michelle began her professional career in the financial industry in 2012, specializing in Client Services. Her background includes business administration, client servicing within account operations, and financial planning preparation. Prior to joining SteelPeak Wealth, Michelle worked at JSF Financial for 9 years in various roles ranging from executive assistant, account operations associate, and financial planning associate. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton in 2016.

Outside of the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs. She enjoys new cooking recipes, visiting gardens and nurseries, indoor gardening, and collecting exotic tropical house plants.

Natalie grew up moving around California, in towns ranging from Mammoth Lakes to Manhattan Beach. She attended the University of Arizona where she played Division 1 beach volleyball and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the Eller School of Management.

Since graduating, Natalie provided audit services to wealth and asset management clients as part of a big 4 accounting firm in Los Angeles. More recently, she transitioned into private accounting working for a media production company located in Santa Monica.

On the weekends, you can find her at the beach or in the mountains. She loves to bake and is currently working on perfecting her sourdough starter. To keep her competitive spirit alive, Natalie still enjoys competing in local beach volleyball tournaments and the occasional half marathon.

Melinda started her professional career in the Financial Industry over 20 years ago,
Her roles have included receptionist, cashier, and Sr. Client Service Associate.
After working with Morgan Stanley for over 20 years , Melinda has moved on to join the Steel Peak team as a Client Service Associate.

Melinda enjoys working with her team and clients building trustworthy relationships.
On her off time she loves spending time with her children and family, and volunteering and giving back to Veterans.
Melinda enjoys kickboxing, camping and watching the Dodgers.

Joseph grew up in Southern California before attending Aurora University in the suburbs of Chicago, IL where he played Division III lacrosse and obtained his B.S. in both Biology and Health Sciences.

After graduating, Joseph shifted his focus away from health sciences. He then spent two years in Las Vegas, NV where he began his professional career as an executive assistant to a private family office, before transitioning into an analyst role within their asset management division. He has since relocated back to Southern California and joined SteelPeak Wealth as a Client Services Associate.

Outside of work, Joseph enjoys spending his time golfing, surfing, and camping in the mountains with his friends.

For over 5 years, Lena worked in various fields from trading to finance, and recently joined SteelPeak Wealth as a Client Service Associate. She received a Bachelor’s in Communication Studies at California State University, Northridge and is looking forward to working in a collaborative team and developing open communications with clients.

Outside of the office, she enjoys swimming, spending time with her friends and cat, and exploring around Los Angeles for delicious food.

As the Executive Assistant, Alexis ensures all day to day activities run smoothly for the Principals of the firm, overlooking all administrative activities to run smoothly and effectively. Alexis joins the team as the point person to the Executives with years of experience as a Personal and Executive Assistant.

She believes hard work and consistency makes success a reality and applies that to each day. She looks forward to building the crucial relationships with clients to ensure a seamless experience.

In her free time, she is part of the volunteer team at the Union Rescue Mission in Downtown Los Angeles and enjoys performing standup comedy.

Prior to SteelPeak, Lisa was a branch manager for Chase Bank, and has been in the financial industry for over 23 years. Throughout her career she has had the innate ability to assess clients needs and build long lasting relationships.

In her spare time, Lisa loves to travel and learn about different cultures. She enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, attend art exhibits, live concerts and hockey games.
